A few weeks ago, a 14 year old named Julia Bluhm started a campaign without realizing it. She asked Seventeen Magazine to use less photoshopped images in their issues. Seventeen scoffed, so Miss Representation stepped up with Keep It Real.
Keep It Real is a 3 day campaign. Yesterday, participants were asked to tweet at a list of editors for leading magazines, asking them to simply pledge to print at least one unphotoshopped image of a model per issue. That’s it.
